Culture of primary neurons
Mouse or rat primary neurons were cultured in AscleStem® Neuronal Medium supplemented with either this product or Company A's product. Cell morphology was evaluated by phase-contrast microscopy after 3 weeks of culture. Immunofluorescence staining was performed after 2 weeks using anti-β-tubulin and anti-GFAP antibodies. In addition, the expression of mature neuronal markers was confirmed after 3 weeks using anti-MAP2 and anti-NeuN antibodies.
