The western blot is a composite image using different exposure times for each protein. This data shows that Bullet PAGE One Precast Gel is compatible with CBB staining and western blot techniques.

Attention

  • Check the electrophoresis device (compatible glass plate size, etc.) and output at power supply (maximum voltage, etc.). We recommend the WEP-MN Vertical Electrophoresis Cell which is specifically designed for running the Bullet PAGE One Precast Gels and Bullet PAGE Plus Precast Gels. The cell is made of durable polycarbonate and tolerates high voltage running conditions for ultra-high speed electrophoresis.
  • Electrophoresis should run below 400V of constant voltage.
  • Electrophoresis time will be influenced by the temperature of the running buffer and the concentration of acrylamide in the gel (1%).
  • The recommended application volume is below the half of well volume. (13-well type: below 20 µl, 17-well type: below 14 µl).
